Temple Avodat Shalom offers a spectrum of Jewish activities for young and old, providing a variety of opportunities to satisfy an appetite for Jewish learning, spiritual growth, and modern discourse on an ancient religion.

Sisterhood

We strive to unite the women of our Temple community through spirituality, education, fundraising, social events, community service and support of Reform Judaism.

Brotherhood

Brotherhood is one of the primary fundraising and “fun-raising” arms of Temple Avodat Shalom. The funds generated by Brotherhood dues and projects help underwrite and support numerous Temple activities and social action efforts.

Youth Group

At Temple Avodat Shalom we pride ourselves on the fact that our children continue to participate beyond becoming a bar/bat mitzvah. We have one of the most active youth groups in the county.

Young Families

Family and children’s programming is a vital part of temple life at Temple Avodat Shalom. The Young Families group provides an opportunity for children and their parents to form connections and strong friendships with other Jewish families in the community.

Social Action

Social action is a core value of Judaism. Our community’s commitment to social action in the world is an integral part of who we are at Temple Avodat Shalom.
