Weekly Worship

All are welcome to our services and study opportunities! These are weekly opportunities for engaging our community in Jewish living and welcoming guests to share in the joy we find at Temple Avodat Shalom. Our services are participatory and music filled, and use the Reform prayer book Mishkan Tfillah. We also offer many creative services throughout the year including featuring guest musicians and speakers, special musical styles or themes, guest organizations, and participants and leaders from all parts of our community.

Our services and Torah Study are led by our clergy, Rabbi Jim Stoloff and Cantor Maria Dubinsky, except for a few weeks in the summer led by our lay leaders.

  • Friday Shabbat Services usually start at 8 PM and last an hour, followed by an Oneg Shabbat. Check our calendar for special services / service times!

  • Saturday Shabbat Services 10:30am and last an hour, ninety minutes if a B’nei Mitzvah.
