Weekly Worship

We always welcome visitors to our Shabbat services. Please approach any of our congregants or officers (usually wearing a name badge, one of our board members reads weekly announcements from the bimah at Friday night services) and introduce yourself. Our services are participatory, with music and song for all to join in with. We use our own “Siddur Shalom” on Friday nights and Mishkan T’Filah on Saturdays. We offer many creative services throughout the year, often led by our Sisterhood, Brotherhood, Youth group, and religious school classes.

  • Friday Shabbat Services are normally at 8:00 PM followed by an Oneg Shabbat
  • Saturday Shabbat Services are at 10:30 AM
  • First Friday Shabbat is a monthly celebration for all ages conducted by our clergy and children from our religious school and features prayers sung with musical accompaniment. Mishkan T’Filah for Youth, A Siddur for Families and School is used. The environment is ideal for those seeking a lively and energetic Shabbat experience.  Everyone is welcome to attend this service which typically starts at 7PM.
  • Tot Shabbat at 6:00 PM
  • Congregational Shabbat Dinner at 6:30 PM (tables for young children, teens, & adults)
  • Services at 7:30 PM in our sanctuary as well as a smaller alternative service in the Plotkin Library conducted by members of the congregation offering quiet and reflective prayer.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
  • Teen / Youth Group activities in the teen lounge
  • Oneg Shabbat for all
  • Torah Study on Thursday at 12:00 PM and on Saturday at 9:15 AM
  • Sunday morning Minyan at 9:00 AM (when school is in session)
  • Summer lay lead services: We have many active lay leaders who have the joy of leading services and chanting / reading Torah and Haftorah for several weeks each summer when the Rabbi and Cantor are on vacation. We are always welcome to anyone who would like to join this ever expanding group.
